Hi, i´m Andi! I write music for film, television, documentaries, podcasts and advertising.
Andreas Pfeiffer grew up with classical music, later turned to jazz, and studied guitar under Professor Frank Möbus at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar — before eventually finding his way to the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, where he realized that what he’d always been most interested in was how music makes you feel something in relation to a story.
His scores mix orchestral and electronic elements, though he’d rather talk about whether the music works emotionally than about how it’s made. He has worked with ensembles including Filmorchester Babelsberg and Staatskapelle Weimar, and collaborated live and in the studio with artists such as Clueso and Alin Coen.
In 2023, he received the German Television Academy Award for his score for A Thin Line (Paramount+). In 2026, he was honored with the New Stars Award from SPIO (Germany’s leading film industry association) for No Dogs Allowed.
He lives and works in Zurich.
